After much anticipation, Drzewiecki Design has released their Chicago City X pack for FSX, Prepar3D and Dovetail Flight Sim World today. This addon provides immersive modelling of the whole of Chicago/Illinois.

Chicago is the most populous city in Illinois. With an estimated population of almost 3 million, it is the third most populous city in the United States after New York and Los Angeles. The metropolitan area, at nearly 10 million people, is the third largest metropolitan area in the world by land area. Chicago is an international hub for finance, culture, commerce, industry, technology, telecommunications, and transportation.

Chicago is also host to two major airports, Midway & O’Hare. Both of which are expected to come in  Drzewiecki Design’s Chicago Airports X Pack. O’Hare International Airport is the one of the busiest airports in the world, and the region also has the largest number of U.S. highways and greatest amount of railroad freight. Meanwhile, Chicago City X has compatibility with that upcoming package as well as all Orbx products, PILOT’s products and all Megascenery products. It is also expected to be compatible with most other airport add-ons from the area.

If you would like to purchase Chicago City X, you can do so over on Simmarket, where with a download size of 3.8GB, you can have Chicago City for EUR22.00

It is also useful to to note that this scenery is expected to release further following the release of Prepar3D v5. With a more computer intensive version further in the future.
